"I’ve lived in South Kona for 25 years and always enjoyed the “old” Hana Hou but I lost it during the pandemic. The “new” Hana Hou is really nice. The food is exceptional, the service is personal and efficient and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Kudos to the new owners, the staff and one owner’s wife who is an excellent artist whose paintings are displayed in the restaurant. What a nice addition to the south end of the island. I will continue to go back for the comfortable experience I look for when dining out."
