"Wow! These guys can cook! Loved the pizza and all the baked goods we tried. Made another trip from Kona to do it again!"

"What an amazing little spot! The food is quick to come out and very delicious. All of the staff are very friendly. There are seats both outside and inside the restaurant, and many delicious pies to choose from to take home. Also, they also have beer and wine. Be sure to bring your ID! The menu is outside, so if you need to take a picture, then do so. DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS WINDOW SLATS. While we were there, another table who touched them (instead of going outside to look at the menu) and broke one of the slats. They are delicate and custom made."

"Hana Hou is a great local restaurant in Naalehu. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It's definitely a place to stop after a morning hike. We intended to order pastries that our family recommended. Instead, our belly and eyes were hungry. I had a coconut shrimp and Mahi plate. My family ordered a Loco moco, Mahi burger, pineapple fried rice, a dynamite pizza, and a variety of pastries to take home. Everyone was happy and satisfied with what they ordered. The servings and taste were perfect to satisfy the hungry belly. I will definitely come back to try everything on the menu. Thank you very much for the local experience."

"Best burger I've had in a long time and I eat a lot of burgers. Very nice people, great deserts. Get the macadamia nut chocolate caramel bar and another one to go."

"So glad we found this little place on our way back from Punalu'u... Got the smoked pork special on our first visit here and some goodies for the road. The lady at the counter was lovely and asked us if we ever had fresh passion fruit before (we haven't, we're Wisconsinites with bland taste). And she gifted us with a fresh lilikoi. Such a nice gesture made us feel welcome here. Of course we decided to take an unplanned trip back and ate another delicious meal of pineapple fried rice, a cheeseburger, and some Lilikoi Lemonade. Deeee-lish. Not sure why people found this woman rude. Maybe they should practice saying aloha, please, and mahalo a little more often, and have some more patience for short staffed local eateries. Mahalo for great meals and treats!!"
